One of the greatest features about mobile bidding is that it’s MOBILE! This means your guests can bid on items and make donations even when they cannot attend your event.
Step 1: Enable the remote bidding feature
To enable this feature, go to the Dashboard Tab (top ribbon), click the Settings page and scroll down to “Enable Remote Bidding”.

Step 2: What your guest sees
Once this feature is enabled, a button will appear on your Guest Registration page that says, “Register to bid without tickets”. Guests can now register to bid without buying a ticket to your fundraising event. When they click to register without tickets, they will be directed to fill in their contact and credit card information. ALL bidders must have a credit card on file to bid. Once your “remote bidder” had entered the necessary CC information, they will receive a Welcome Email with a link to the Auction site. Time to start bidding!
Step 3: Send text blasts to remote bidders
To filter texts blasts and include Remote Bidders in your text messages, go back to the Dashboard Tab (top ribbon), click Settings, then find “Bid Links” half way down the page. Check the box “Send bid links out to guests who registered without purchasing tickets.”

*To see how many people have created a Remote Bidding account, navigate to the Account tab, then click the “Registered Without Tickets” page. Here you will see a list of names and you will find the grand total at the lower left corner of your page.
